The Wotan Group was formed from the company Windpark Wotan Betriebs- und Verwaltungs-GmbH that was founded by Dipl.-Ing. Stephan Haack about twenty years ago.
This business and administration group consists of a large number of operating companies whose objective is to process renewable energy and provide this for the benefit of consumers.

As suggested by the company name the first and oldest business line is the generation of energy from wind power. Later the additional lines of biogas and biomass, in the form of wood pellets, were adopted in our range of renewable energy sources.

The Wotan Group integrated B.Plan GmbH as a planning company in its network structure.

The assignments of 2E Erneuerbare Energien GmbH include the cultivation and marketing of energy crops. This brought about an intense collaboration with the Wotan Group and B.Plan GmbH for the purpose of utilising the IGNISCUM plant in both its basic and its candy versions for the generation of biogas as well as the production of wood pellets.

Biomatra is the partner on the Wotan network responsible for the punctual supply of biomass, wood chips, and other biosubstances and for marketing the produced wood pellets wherever they are needed.
